Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WordUp mobile application ("WordUp", "the App", "the Service"). By downloading, creating an account for, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

WordUp is a mobile application that supports English vocabulary acquisition based on the Oxford 3000 word list, using spaced repetition. It includes flashcard, quiz, Speed Round, and story modules. The App is developed and operated by Lexora Education.

2. Account Creation

Some features of the App require you to create an account. You are responsible for the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Information you provide during registration must be accurate and up to date.

3. Subscriptions, Pricing & Lifetime Access

WordUp offers a free (freemium) tier and a premium tier. The free tier limits the amount of content available; the premium tier provides unlimited access and additional features. Premium access may be offered as a recurring subscription (monthly/yearly) or as a one-time lifetime purchase.

• All purchases and payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to those platforms' own payment terms.
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each period unless cancelled. You may cancel anytime through the App Store / Play Store app settings.
• Prices may change without prior notice; however, you will not be charged additional fees mid-cycle for an active subscription period.

4. Refund Policy

Since all purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, refund requests are handled according to those platforms' own refund policies and procedures. Lexora Education does not have the ability to issue refunds directly; please contact the relevant store's support for refund requests.

5. Intellectual Property

All content within the App — including design, code, word lists, story texts, graphics, logo, and brand elements — is owned by or licensed to Lexora Education and protected by copyright. Unauthorized copying, distribution, or commercial use of this content is prohibited. You are granted a limited, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use only.

6. User Obligations

When using the App, you agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App's source code
• Attempt to bypass security measures or gain unauthorized access
• Transfer or share your account with others
• Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or off-label purpose
• Access the App using automated tools (bots, scripts, etc.)

7. Changes & Service Interruptions

Lexora Education reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue any part of the App's content or functionality, with or without notice. Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical issues, or outages of third-party service providers (Firebase, RevenueCat, etc.).

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the app's settings, or by contacting lexora.education@gmail.com.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

WordUp is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any specific learning outcome. The App is an educational tool; individual language-learning results may vary from user to user.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lexora Education shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts and enforcement offices of the Republic of Turkey.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated within the app, and the "Last updated" date on this page will be revised. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
